So, after a mistake I made this past Monday night i found myself feeling a mix of unsettling emotions. This mistake was one I have repeatedly made over the past year and usually have found myself blaming myself only, or feeling full or regret afterwards. This time was different though. Without going into detail, I was not happy at all on Tuesday. Despite this, I found myself realizing that this was not all my doings and that mistakes like these are a part of life and with all the great things going on in my life I have no time to waste with regret. In other words.. shit happens. Life does not come with a rewind button. No longer am i going to over analyze this on-going mess. I will never understand you completely and I really don't care to try and figure it all out anymore. From now on it's all about that positive thinking.

On with the good stuff. Thursday night I went to Phish with Caitlin, Becca, Johnny and also met up with Tim and many other friends. It was one of the best nights of my summer so far to say the least. The parking lot was full of good people and good times and the set list was amazing.
Set One: David Bowie, Stealing Time From the Faulty Plan (I guessed this as opener, so close! One of my favorites for sure.), Water in the Sky, Ocelot, Uncle Pen, Boogie on Reggae Woman, Gumbo, Timber (Jerry), I Didn't Know, Birds of a Feather, Bouncing Around the Room, Reba, The Rover (Led Zeppelin cover- first time played)
Set Two: Down with the Disease, Crosseyed and Painless, Nothing, Twenty Years Later, Harry Hood, Fluffhead, Julius, You Enjoy Myself.
Encore: Bug.
A mind-blowing show to say the least. By the end of second set I was dead. Most people were ready for round 2 on Friday but my little body could notttt handle it, ha ha. I personally think the setlist was better on Thursday anyways, besides maybe the full band Billy Jean and Thriller teases in honor of the late Michael Jackson. RIP MJ! I filled up two disposable cameras with pictures, so I'll be sure to post them soon so you can get a better idea of the fun we all had. Everyone must experience a Phish show at least once in their life!

Anyways, Friday was my day of recovery. As i lounged on my couch watching TV and movies I took a quick look into my email and was pleasantly surprised. I mentioned a couple entries back that I might have some good news coming soon and here it is- I am now officially part of the Red Bull Philly Wiiings Team. Scheduled to start on July 15th, I finally get to ditch my office job at Faulkner Cadillac (need I say more?). Although the pay has not been bad, sitting in this office makes my blood run cold! Such a boring, routine job and I am finally going to be FREE! So right now.. life is good. And with all this upcoming excitement in my life, I promise to quit neglecting this blog and post way more. Ciao Bellas.
